Adidas is around for many years. It was founded in Germany in 1920 by a man named Adolf Dassler. The company was first named Dassler shoes, but later became known as Adidas. It got the name from the Dassler nickname “Adi”. Dassler invented spiked shoes for the first tack and field. 1936 U. S. Jessie Owens won Olympic gold over the track wearing Adidas shoes. Over the years, adidas has grown in popularity and has become a world-wide reputation. Today, not only the supply of Adidas shoes and clothes, but many other items including watches.
